Heavy Twin-Engine Aerial Surveillance UAV

Conceptual and preliminary structural design of a relatively heavy (MTOW 815 lb/370 kg) UAV platform intended for aerial surveillance purpose.

• wing aerodynamic design optimized for loitering at about 55 knots / 100 km/h;
• wing loft development;
• development of several configurations including the one with electric powerplant;
• loads, structural design, and structural analysis of the composite wing, ailerons and tail surfaces.
