Aircraft Detail Design
At this stage, all parts – up to the last bolt – are designed, analyzed and accounted in the bill of materials (BOM). Manufacturing drawings and models are generated for fabrication and machining. The detail design phase includes -
• Design & Analysis of Metal and Composite Structures
• Parts, Assemblies & Systems Design
• Verification of Compliance with Applicable Airworthiness Standards
• Tooling & Fixture Design
• Manufacturing Drawings / 2D Drafting
The computer models and a set of manufacturing drawings developed per ISO or ANSI drafting standards, along with GD&T technique utilized, will be available to the customer, no matter if the aircraft structure is composite or metal.
