Antonov An-2 Floatplane CFD Analysis

This is a continuation of the Antonov AN-2 floatplane project with composite amphibious floats.

The purpose of this phase of the project was evaluation of the effect of an inflatable boat attached to fuselage belly of the An-2 floatplane upon its aerodynamic performance. Various configurations (i.e. air speed, angle of attack, propeller RPM, blade pitch) have been simulated to figure out main aerodynamic forces acting on the airplane, as well as pressure, velocity, wall shear stress and other contours.
